Product Description
I painted this Eagle Nest Lake painting in sections. And started, in the middle! I thought it would be a “slice” of just the mountains and little sky. After looking at it for a while, I decided it needed the lake, so I took a second canvas of the same size, matched the colors and painted the bottom canvas. After looking at the pair together, I decided it really needed more sky, so I pulled the third canvas from the three canvas box and painted the sky to match and flow in to the original panel. Thus the full image evolved. When I sat looking at it afterward and decided to screw them all together and frame it as one, I felt serenity engulf me. Thus, the name. Serenity: Eagle Nest Lake Painting.
